Guide to Membership and Referee Registration in Publons
Publons is a service that allows researchers to introduce their reviews internationally and track and recognize them. Hereby, after registering your reviews in the Publons system, the number of reviews will be recorded and displayed in the Publons system by the names of the journals.
1. Register at Publons: https://publons.com/about/home
2. After registering and entering the information on your personal page, you will become a member of Publons and the result will be notified to your email.
3. After reviewing each article, enter your review in Publons. To add your review to Publons, some publications will ask if you would like your review to be automatically added to Publons. Therefore, by clicking on the yes option, the refereeing will be automatically transferred to the Publons system and added.
4. Most of the publications do not have this option. To add the review, it is enough to forward the thank you email of the journal that was sent to you for doing the review, to reviews@publons.com address directly.
5. After receiving Publons' response, this review will be added to the number of your approved reviews in the Publons system. This will display the number of verified reviews and the names of the publications.
