Abstract
The culture of tolerance is one of the effective tools in the social security of society, and its absence has played a major role in weakening the social security of today's Iranian society. The culture of tolerance is a tool that will undoubtedly help solve these problems, because it can bring people with different beliefs and tastes together to solve problems together. Understanding and reviewing the thoughts of the past in Persian literature, especially Ferdowsi's Shahnameh as a mirror and organizer of society, can help us today in reducing or solving the challenges facing us in various areas of social security; therefore, the researcher in this article aims to examine the culture of tolerance as one of the models of social security in the Shahnameh; therefore, this research begins with the question of "What is the function of the culture of tolerance in strengthening social security in Ferdowsi's Shahnameh?" Given the exploratory nature of the research, it is not possible to initially propose a hypothesis for it. This research is a type of fundamental theoretical and applied research that was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, and its findings were analyzed using the "qualitative analysis" method and the "inductive reasoning" method.
